The Ultimate Romantic Getaway

From acclaimed film-maker Bill Bennett (Spider & Rose, Two If By Sea) comes a scorching new romantic thriller starring two of Australia's most exciting young actors Francis O'Connor (Love & Other Catastrophes, Thank God He Met Lizzie) and Matt Day (Muriel's Wedding, Doing Time For Patsy Cline). Nikki and Al are lovers and small time scammers. When a routine job goes badly wrong, leaving a man dead in a hotel room, they decide to head west across the barren Nullarbor Plain.

With cops hot on their tails, they overnight at a motel next morning the hotel owner is dead: murdered. Fleeing further into the desert, the two suspects are given shelter by an eccentric couple at their isolated shack. By morning, they too are found murdered. Nikki and Al start to suspects each other of the multiple killings, and they also start to learn things about each other they wish they never knew. Meanwhile, the cops are closing in, helped by an Aboriginal tracker.
