Lust can be heaven. Growing up is hell. And in between is Love In Limbo!
Love in Limbo is a technicolour tour around the teenage libido as it was in 1957, when sex was still a dirty word.
Ken Riddle (Craig Adams) is an artistic fifteen year old with a rampant libido and a passionate interest in the female form. His problem is that his knowledge is academic, not practical. He's still a virgin!
His glamorous widowed mother Gwen (Rhondd Findleton), a talented dress designer, sets out on her own wobbly journey, to a new romance - and a new career - on stiletto heels.
Ken and his two workmates, Arthur (Russsell Crowe) and Barry (Aden Young) finally decide to head for the brothels of Kalgoorlie for the weekend. Ken finally "cracks it", but the realities of loveless sex do not live up to his fantasies.
Puffing on Lucky Strikes lit by Zippos, driving Studebakers adorned with tailfins, all the while shaking, rattling and rolling, the characters in Love In Limbo are innocent of greed, unaware of the world's looming crises, free of flower power and safe from sex.
