Ronald David Wood was born 1st June 1947 in Hillingdon, Middlesex. It was said that his mother used to sing 'Carmen' in the bath but they were so poor they couldn't afford the water. After playing in such bands as The Faces, he officially joined the Stones in 1975. A strong solo career includes works such as Slide On This, Live At The Ritz (With Bo Diddley) and Not For Beginners. Now comes his latest offering, a live DVD, entitled Far East. Singing tracks with such contemporary stars as the Corrs and Slash and hits from his Stones cohorts, such as Miss You, this is a must for any Rolling Stones fan.
