But what begins as a simple moonshine operation quickly escalates into a series of armed robberies, desperate pursuits and deadly confrontations. Soon, Ned finds himself revered throughout the country as a larger-than-life sagebrush hero...but as the law closes in on him and his gang, the hero's reign may be cut tragically short.
With spectacular performances, a riveting screenplay (by Richardson and Ian Jones) and atmospheric songs, performed by country music legend Waylon Jennings, Ned Kelly is a towering epic that is as engaging, adventurous and exciting as the notorious outlaw himself.
