When Katia, a beautiful Russian bride to be arrives in Australia to find her intended husband has died, she finds comfort in the arms of Ethan (David Wenham from Sea Change, The Boys and Better Than Sex), a married book publisher who quickly succumbs to her charms. But how will she stay in the country with no husband? Something must be done!
Ethan asks his best friend Harvey (Hugo Weaving from The Matrix, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and The Interview) to marry Katia. Still hurting from finding his wife in bed with another man, he is particularly vulnerable. Bored with his job as a private investigator, he accepts the offer (along with a cash incentive which will finally enable him to write the novel he has always dreamed of) and marries Katia. But first of all, they must convince everyone that they ARE a couple in love...including Ethan's wife.
