Mickey Rourke stars as a Beverley Hills psychiatrist whose bedside manner has gotten him accused of contributing to the suicide of a beautiful patient. While starting over in Palm Springs, he meets another gorgeous woman and soon becomes a prime suspect in her husband's murder. He has been set up, but because of his past he is unable to convince the law of his innocence, and he must resolve the matter in his own way.
