Paradise Found tells the story of the French post-impressionist artist Paul Gauguin abandoned his career, wife, children and homeland to live and paint in Tahiti.

Pairs, 1880s: Paul Gauguin (Kiefer Sutherland - star of the hit television series 24) is a successful stockbroker who loves his wife Mette (Nastassja Kinski) and his four children. However, he loves to paint even more. When one of his idols, Camille Pissaro (Alun Armstong), compliments his work, Gauguin sacrifices it all to become a painter himself.
