Very Annie MaryIcon_movClass_M

2001, 100 minutes, Rated M

In the type of film that the British have made their own, Very Annie Mary brings shades of Billy Elliot and Little Voice to the uplifting and often hilarious tale of an awkward and rebellious twenty something who somehow finds the strength to break free from the clutches of her eccentric yet domineering father and in doing so discovers that she has an extraordinary talent!

With Jonathan Pryce as the Pavarotti impersonating singing baker and Rachel Griffiths as the very talented but very confused Anni-Mary. Also featuring Hob and Nob, the gay cafe owners, and the Ogw Women`s Institute Village People tribute band.
