Fourteen-year-old boy Eric believes he has discovered a rare weather pattern that could destroy everything in his home town, Rutland, Missouri. When the powerful blast strikes the local high school and the power plant is damaged, Eric hatches a daring plan to stop the disastrous storm. In a race against time, Eric and his father have one chance to save the town from total destruction.
