Alan White is the father of a young woman desperately awaiting a heart transplant. When his estranged son Danny arrives on his doorstep, wounded after a botched kidnap job, he presents an offer to his father. Accepting his inevitable death, Danny wants to donate his heart to his twin sister, Emma. In return, Alan must pose as the wealthy kidnap victim that Danny accidentally suffocated in the truck of the getaway car to protect Danny and his friends.
