Hercules has grown tired of Mount Olympus and is desperate to visit Earth. Zeus forbids this adventure, but soon a thunderbolt sends Hercules hurtling down the mountain and into the 'big apple'.

Hercules seems to enjoy the trappings of New York City (scenes include: riding a Chariot through Times Square, run-ins with a crooked wrestling promoter & gangsters).

This was Arnie's screen debut in this comedic variation of the "sword and scandal" epics made popular in the 1950s and '60s.
