2003, 95 minutes, Rated M

From Rob Reiner, the Director of perennial favourites "When Harry Met Sally", "Stand By Me" and "The Princess Bride" comes a delectable fresh take on romantic comedy.

Luke Wilson's and Kate Hudson's sparkling chemistry ignites the screen as Alex and Emma, two eccentrics living the single life in Boston.

Novelist Alex Sheldon has writer's block. But that's not his biggest problem - at the moment he's being dangled over the side of his building by a pair of scary Cuban loan sharks with an ultimatum: Come up with $100,000 in 30 days or he's a dead man. Luckily, he'll get the money when his new novel is finished.

Unluckily, he can't even finish one sentence. In steps smart-talking stenographer Emma Dinsmore. She's been employed to take dictation but ends up challenging, goading and just damn annoying Alex so much that he begins to write again. And as the words flow and the sizzling romantic novel takes shape, Alex and Emma begin to realise that sometimes life imitates art.
