Retired homicide detective Eddie Burns (Rhames, star of films like PULP FICTION and CON AIR) gave 15 years of his life to the force and now lives in solitude, far from the corruption and depravity of the city.But when his wayward sister goes missing, Eddie finds himself inexorably drawn back into the 'hell' he used to know - facing the past he has tried to escape and face-to-face with Charlie Strom (a brilliantly nasty performance from AIR FORCE ONE star Oldman), a sinister criminal with a devious plan of revenge.
