Determined to make his critical appointment, Chris (Desmond Harrington) finds a dirt road off the West Virginia highway - clearly less travelled but helps avoid the highway traffic jam. On the same dirt road, Jessie (Eliza Dushku) and her friends are stranded, examining the barbed wire trap that caused the Ranger Rover to lose control.

When Chris collides into their car leaving both vehicles immobile, there's no choice but to band together and head into the woods to find help...but instead they find a cabin filled with horrific hunting souvenirs - the mercilessly mutilated bodies of travellers at the hands of three gruesome mountain men. One thing for sure: these friends won't ever be taking another road trip.
