To fulfil her mother's dying wish, Taylor (Brenda Doumani) vows one day that she will marry for love, not money. But having been fired from her New York ad agency job, Taylor now finds herself with no life, no money, no job... and definitely no love.

Along with her best friend Angie, she decides to move to California. Along the way Taylor falls for a busdriver, Jimmy, but Angie pushes her to go for security instead - in the form of her new boss, eligible millionaire playboy Scott. Love or money? What's a girl to do?
