This gun-slinging 'spaghetti western' takes place in a world where life is cheap, yet a healthy serving of humour is also included on the 'tex-mex' menu. Set in the Texas border region around the time of the Mexican revolution, a town is ruthlessly controlled by a greedy mine owner who treats the local peasants and his own miners like worthless dirt. With nowhere to turn, the peasants enlist the aid of a dispalced polish mercenary (Franco Nero) willing to help in their patriotic quest for freedom. Only a cold-hearted killer hired by the town's tyrant (played by Jack Palance) stands in their way.
