The 25 Year Reunion Celebration is part of international music history. Everyone said it was impossible... yet the dream came to life... Judith Durham back with The Seekers for a 25 Year Reunion Celebration concert tour in 1993.
The crowds were on their feet night after night, forgetting themselves and their individual lives for an hour or so, to be transported back in time or to be absorbed in the innocence, joy and emotion of a special kind of music which has never become faded in memories. There it was all being brought to life before their very eyes in an even more spirited form than ever witness beack in the mid-60s.
The culmination of so many of these never-to-be-forgotten performances was this particular night on one of Australia's finest concert stages, the Melbourne Concert Hall, captured here for posterity.
We share in the making of The Seekers' first studio album in 30 years. More timeless classics are captured here, brining melody and feel-good rhythms which are the internationally celebrated group's trademark qualities. Here is a private glimpse of studio life in 1997 - interspersed with historice 60s footage of the group - as we are taken behind the sceens with Judith, Athol, Keith and Bruce during the recording of future favourites like Calling Me Home, The Bush Girl, The Shores Of Avalon and Speak To The Sky along with the familiar Buddy Holly hit It Doesn't Matter Anymore.
Also included is the wonderful Far Shore promotional film clip filmed in 1997.
