Fleeing Paris and the expectations of his charming girlfriend (Audrey Tautou) and his family, Xavier (Romain Duris) spends his college senior year in Barcelona as part of a student exchange program. Following his arrival, Xavier is soon thrust into a cultural melting pot when he moves into an apartment full of international students, each as unique as the languages they speak.
