Welcome to 2375. The final year of the recorded adventures of Deep Space Nine, remote and abandoned Cardassian outpost stationed on the very edge of the known universe.

With the Dominion War building to a climax, high-level alliances and personal allegiances shift as the protagonists manoeuvre to secure success.

While Weyoun and the Breen divide the anticipated post-war landscape between them, Damar begins to grow suspicious of his "allies" and considers an escape route for Cardassia.

The Founders wasting disease gathers pace, leading to the shocking discovery that Starfleet may have deliberately infected one of its own most useful allies with the deadly illness.

Cardassian Gul Dukat appears to take up Bajoran beliefs, then even a Bajoran appearance, while Bajor's religious leader finds herself questioning her allegiance to the Prophets, and considering the attractiveness of the Pah-wraiths.

And the crew of Deep Space 9 find themselves questioning their own emotions and attachments when a close friend returns in a new body.

Although the Dominion War will be fought and finished this year, the Emissary of the Prophets has a second war to win before his mission is complete.

The Final Battle will be fought in the Fire Caves of Bajor.
