Life in an outback Australian town. From year to year nothing much changes - or so it seemed to Stella Marsden. But the arrival of a stranger leaves Stella questioning herself and prompts her to make a decision from which there is no turning hack.

Wendy Hughes, brilliant in "Careful He Might Hear You" and "Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train," gives the performance of a lifetime in "Boundaries of the Heart."
