There comes a time in life when you are on the brink of finding your place in the world - the path you choose at that crucial point affects who you are and will become. It is at this crossroad that we meet Iris (Toni Collette), Margaret (Parker Posey), Paula (Lisa Kudrow) and Jane (Alanna Ubach), four young women trying to make their mark.
Coming together as "temps" for the Global Credit Association, each girl sees her job as temporary and dreams of bigger things. The four become friends, sharing their dreams and desires. But the fragile bond between them is disrupted with the introduction of a fifth woman, and the strange events that follow - resulting in paranoia, suspicion and betrayal.
