There are moments in life that define who we are. Moments when we must stand up for what we believe in. Family Tree is a heartwarming story about such a time when a young boy fights to save the soul of his dying hometown.

For generations children have climbed 'Old Oak'. They have carved its trunk and played in its shade, seeking refuge from the outside world for over a century. Nine-year old Mitch "Mess" Musser, is no exception.

When Mess' father comes up with a plan to save the dying town, everyone is behind him. All he must do to succeed is cut down 'Old Oak'.
