Sensai June's (Donna Barnes) Kickboxing Academy is in trouble. Forced into a takeover battle with a rival school, Mortal Combat, June risks losing everything. Worse still is her opposition, an evil Sensai named Tarbeck (Steven Bauer) who will stop at nothing.

Soon it is all out war between the students of both schools; the Academy fighters relying on their training and wits, matched against the lethal Mortal Combat strategy of extreme violence and foul play.

Finally the fighting comes down to the competition, but when a local councilman, Maddox, becomes invovled, things turn ugly. Maddox's son was killed last year in competition by June, and he wants revengen, any way he can get it. June and her students will have to fight to the very end.
