Sex as love. Sex as sin. Sex as business.
East meets West in an offbeat comedy about love and business.
Writer/Director Len Richmond had created a romantic comedy about sex, love, business and the selling of all three.
Alex, a Russian immigrant (Michael York - Austin Powers, Logans Run), arrives in Los Angeles seeking the American dream, only to land a low-paying job in a factorey manufacturing adult novelties.
The factory's owner, Eppy, a 65-year-old Jewish mother (Nancy Fish - Death Becomes Her, The Mask) adopts Alex like a son. She soon tries to matchmake him with another lonely single, Catherine, a fading adult movie star (Prunella Gee - Never Say Never Again).
But Alex is deeply romantic and Catherine is highly cynical. A wacky offbeat comedy about sex, lies and adult novelties.
