High school senior Greg Cima (Jason Wiles) has one dream: to follow in his father's footsteps as a professional footballer. But the day he finally makes the school team his mother (Margot Kidder) announces the family is moving once again, to Kanab, a small town in Souther Utah where Greg's father, now serving a prison sentence, has recently been transferred. Greg arrives in Kanab angry and bitter, unaware the town will change his life forever. With the help of an old native American Indian. Wa Tho Huck (Russell Means) Greg will discover the legend of a long dead athlete and a wild white stallion that is the dorway to the spirtworld.
