Jonesy and his three friends are like many teenagers in small-town America. They fight everyday boredom with their wild sense of adventure and imagination. But when they begin to dabble in dynamite and murder, it threatens to shake the foundation of their entire town.
The group of kids are obsessed with the legend of Johnny McFale, a local boy who was caught trespassing and killed by greedy land developer Swenson. It's questionable whether there is any truth to the tales, but one thing is for certain - Swenson is a dangerous man who hates the town's youth.
When Ears disappears, the others suspect Swenson is resposible and carry out an explosive revenge. But when she turns up alive and well, they must act quickly to cover up their crime. If they are not careful, it could cost them their friendship... or their lives.
