Mike Nichols (The Graduate, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?) directs Jack Nicholson and Art Garfunkel in Jules Feiffer's bittersweet comedy. Carnal Knowledge is a witty yet close to the bone story of two room mates who couldn't differ more if they tried when it comes to women. One chooses to be married while the other indulges in playing the field. Confiding in each other over the years, and even sharing a girl, when they reach middle age they stil can't work out who is better off.
