Sid Vicious (Gary Oldman - Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban), brass guitarist with the notorious punk band The Sex Pistols, is inseparable from girlfriend Nancy Spungen (Chloe Webb - Tales Of The City). Together they lead a tempestuous life of sex and drugs until one tragic night in 1978 when Nancy is found stabbed to death in New York's Chelsea Hotel. Sid is accused of her murder and arrested but the case never reaches court as four months later after being released on bail, Sid dies from a heroin overdose.

This cult classic, along with is stunning soundtrack, has been recognised as the definitive word on the punk phenomenon, bringing the viewer as close as possible to understanding the ravaged pair.
