Borough of Kings means "Brooklyn" and Brooklyn means trouble for struggling young actor Jimmy O'Conner (Jim Stanek). Jimmy's only ambition in life is to get out of Brooklyn and avoid the criminal lifestyle that has seduced his boyhood friends.
He finally gets his chance when famed Broadway director Helen Manners (Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis) offers him the chance to star on a Broadway play. Leaving the neighborhood alive becomes impossible when Jimmy stumbles upon a brutal murder being committed by the psycopathic gangster Nunzio (Joseph Lyle Taylor).
From that moment on, Jimmy is a marked man and nothing will stop the local mob boss (Tony Award Winner Philip Bosco) until Jimmy is silenced...for good.
