Inez Macbeth (Dominique Swain) is married to Edgar (Henry Thomas), a violent petty thief with big ambitions and no brains. When her loveless marriage leads to an affairs with a wealthy young lawyer, Edgar takes control and holds Inez as a prisoner in their own home. With time running out, Inez concocts a desperate scheme driven by murder, betrayal and escape. Sometimes love hurts, sometimes it kills.
