Two of Hollywood's finest actors, Academy Award Winner Robin Williams playing Jack Dundee, who wishes he could turn the clock back 14 years to the worst moment of his life. He's haunted by the moment he causes his team to lose the high school football final when he dropped a touchdown pass from star quarterback Reno Hightower (Kurt Russell). Jack decides to replay the disastrous football game by re-uniting both original teams, but his biggest battle may be off the field, as he has to first convince Reno that history won't repeat itself.
