British comedians Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones star in this farcical comedy set in Norwich and based on the novel by Tom Sharpe. Henry Wilt (Jones) is a local teacher who spends his evenings fantasising about murdering his domineering wife (Alison Steadman).
At a party he makes a complete fool of himself with an inflatable doll and decides to rid himself of the evidence by dumping it in a hole on a building site. When it is discovered that his wife has gone missing, local inspector Flint (Smith) suspects that what is in the hole is a body and Wilt is suspected of murder. Has the shocking truth about Henry Wilt been inflated?
Based on the best selling novel by Tom Sharpe.
