Victim of a vicious break-in which results in the murder of his pregnant wife, commercial pilot Denis Hopkins turns his back on what is left of a perfect lifestyle.

He reinvents himself as a hardened criminal and infiltrates the prsion system to pursue his one obsession: to kill Ricky Barnes, the man that murdered his wife.

To get him, Denis must reach Sullen Voe, the most notorious prison in the land and the hellhole where Ricky still lives and breathes. To do that, he must become a master escapist.
