As 12 year old Bastian delves deeper into"The Never Ending Story", he discovers that there's no hard line between fact and fiction. In the pages of the enchanted book, the Woodland hero Atreyu must break a promise to his friend Fly Girl in order to save her life. In the real world, Bastian finds himself faced with a similar dilemma when Fallon entrusts him with a deep, dark secret. When Bastian stands up for his best friend Lucas and takes on Connor, the school bully, Atreyu also tests the mettle of three so-called heroes by challenging them to help him defend his Woodland village against the forces of Zayide, the Dark Princess. And when Connor and Bastian join forces, the course of history in Fantasia is altered in unpredictable and unforseen ways.
