When a research test duck named Charley is accidentally exposed to radiation during a lab experiment, he begins to lay eggs with solid gold yolks! Professor Albert Dooley (Dean Jones) and his wife Katie (Sandy Duncan) proceed to cash in on this newfound bonanza - until the ensuing complications arouse the suspicions of Treasury Department personnel. After all, whoever heard of trying to pay the weekly bills with a dozen eggs?!
