2003, 90 minutes, Rated M

A newly promoted book editor (Francois Surel - Good Advice) is searching for a best-seller to launch her new career and spends her nights reading through manuscripts left in her predecessor's office. "The Kiss" has her enthralled and she believes she has found a potential hit - but the manuscripts is without an ending. Moved by the passionate love story and drawing parallels to her own life, she convinces her boss (Illeana Douglas - The Next Best Thing, Stir of Echoes) to let her track down the author. She embarks on a journey accompanied by her room-mate (Eliza Dushku - Bring It On, Buffy The Vampire Slayer) to find the author and the missing ending - only to find an old loner (Terence Stamp - Adventures of Priscilla, The Haunted Mansion) who is still struggling to cope with the death of his wife twenty years prior. The two eventually form a close relationship, each drawing wisdom and strength from each other and allowing him to write the final chapter on his romance with his deceased wife and inspiring her to fnd her one great love (Billy Zane - Titanic, The Phantom).
