A hypnotic faith healer, Wolfe (Robert Powell), saves the life of the son of a wealthy government senator being groomed for power. Both the politician (David Hemmings) and his wife (Carmen Duncan) fall prey to the enigmatic Harlequin's spellbinding powers of manipulation.
