Harry Wyckoff (James Belushi) accepts a job as president of a massive global TV company. He is confronted with a new technology called "The New Reality" where 3 dimensional TV animated pictures are projected into living rooms all around the world. Harry launches to the top of the company with his career... but once there he is caught in a web of intrigues, betrayal and murder.
A game of life and death begins....
Also starring veteran sci-fi actor David Warner (Planet Of The Apes, The Omen), a cameo appearance by cyberpunk author William Gibson (Neuromancer, Mona Lisa Overdrive) and featuring a soundtrack by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Wild Palms is an hallucinogenic mix of cyberspace, TV soap and is reminiscent of the enigmatic Twin Peaks.
