It was going to be the perfect crime. After four devilishly conceived and successful kidnappings, Joe (Kevin Bacon, Hollow Man, Stir Of Echoes), and Cheryl Hickey (Courtney Love, The People Vs Larry Flynt) next set their sights on the Jennings; a quietly successful family with a young daughter, Abby (Dakota Fanning, I Am Sam). After kidnapping her, they turn their twisted gaze on her parents, Karen (Charlize Theron, Sweet November, The Cider House Rules) and Will (Stuart Townsend, Queen Of The Damned). Although isolated by their captors - Karen by Joe, and Will by Cheryl - the bond between them and the love for their daughter are about to deliver more than th ekidnappers ever imagined. Even though their lives have been shattered and with an unspeakable outcome threatening them, Karen and Will Jennings are about to discover the terrifying lengths to which they will go to get their daugther back.
