A murder mystery set in a small town... while the world was at war.

Florida City, 1941. Police chief John Haleran (Zen Gesner) is an average joe with an above-average drinking problem. When a young Japanese woman is found murdered, it's up to this inexperienced small town cop to figure out how this foreign girl ended up as a body in a field.

As the clues emerge, a trail of phone numbers begin to lead Haleran to the killer, and what at first seemed like a simple homicide turns out to be something much, much bigger...
