In the grand tradition of epic adventure, The Snow Walker tells the compelling story of two people struggling for survival against the harsh elements of the Canadian Arctic. Charlie Halliday, a maverick bush pilot, is on a routine job in the Arctic wilderness when he encounters a small band of Inuit fisherman. With them is a sick young woman, Kanaalaq, whom they want Charlie to fly to a hospital. When his plane crashes in a glacial lake in the cast outreaches of this desolate, yet beautiful land, Charlie realises they are stranded hundreds of miles from civilization. With the radio broken and only a handful of supplies, they are at the mercy of the harsh elements.
