1960, 60 minutes, Rated E
The last of the hugely successful Frank Sinatra Variety Shows broadcast on America's ABC TV, this seminal program, taped in May 1960, sees Frank welcome very special guest star Elvis Presley home from national service. A rare document of the two biggest superstars of the era, the show features a very special "Love Me Tender" and "Witchcraft" medley by Elvis and Frank along with several solo performances by these stellar performers - Elvis also sings the hits "Fame and Fortune" and "Stuck On You".
This dazling TV event also includes a stunning performance from Nancy Sinatra (her first TV appearance with her father), along with songs and comic sketches by Rat Pack regulars Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop. Enjoy this rare record of two of the most popular entertainers of the Twentieth Century united for the first time.
