Robert DeNiro is Sammy Nicoletti, an up and coming film director, who is suddenly and mysteriously murdered. However, the police close teh case, and label it unsolved. Ten years later, when Sammy's brother Vito gets out of jail, he is thirsty for revenge. During his search for the truth, he potentially faces the same consequences as his brother, if he gets too close.
