Hail Caesar

Aspiring rock star Julius Caesar MacGruder was named by archaeologist parents with a passion for Roman antiquities. Orphaned when his parent were killed by aborigines, Julius was left with his parents; house and their Romanesque state of Venus. When he flunks out of UCLA, Julius decides to devote himself to "Hail Caesar", his straggly rock band. But to the frustration of band members Annie and Wlad, Julius' attention is constantly diverted by his rich, spoiled girlfriend, Buffer. Buffer's father is the eraser manufacturing king, Booker T. Bidwell. Bidwell despises Julius and maked a bet with him. If Julius can be productive enough to earn $100,000 in the next six months, he can have Buffer. Otherwise, Julius must never see her again.
