An all-star cast, including Anthony Michael and Ally Sheedy, team up in this thrilling drama about a convicted killer who hijacks a routine commercial flight, as two daring FBI agents attempt to end the terrifying ordeal in a ruthless game of cat-and-mouse.
En route to a federal penitentiary, diabolical murderer Peter Cronin (Anthony Michael Hall) boards Flight 285 to Dallas, handcuffed and escorted by two marshals. With cunning assistance from two on-board accomplices, sexy Shayna Loring (Hudson Leick) and ex-IRA operative and computer expert Andrew Leary, Cronin manages to overpower his captors, hijack the plane and take hundreds of innocent passengers as his hostages. He then demands a $20 million ransom and a guaranteed escape from the government, or he will detonate a high-powered bomb hidden inside a laptop computer.
After taking control of the plane, the deranged Cronin phones the very man who sent him to prison in the first place, FBI agent Frank Leyton (Perry King). Leyton is shocked the madman is not behind bars: the last time he negotiated with Cronin, an innocent life was lost. Cronin also demands that Leyton's ex-partner DEni Patton (Ally Sheedy), play in his new game of evil. Patton rushes to the tense scene, as the two investigators begin the most dangerous assignment of their lives!
