Theodore Melville (Hill Harper) has a history of chasing beauties. From kindergarten through college, he had only one thing on his mind. Girlfriend after girlfriend, Theo just wouldn't learn. Whether it was going out with the kindergarten heartbreaker or, in college, chasing after his best-friend's girl (Heather Gottlieb), Theo was always unlucky in love. Worse yet, he could never find out why! Then, one dya he falls head-over-heels in love with Frances (Nicole Ari Parker). For Frances, Theo is even willing to brave an extremely angry and jealous ex boyfriend 0 until he realises it's just too much to handle - and limps away with a bruised and broken heart.

Failing at relationship after relationship, including one with Winnie the Pooh-obsessed Sali (Elisa Donovan) which leaves Theo with his leg in a cast, and another where Theo's best-friends girlfriend (Sandrine Holt) tries to seduce him, Theo finally realises that maybe it has something to do with himself. Only then is he able to really see women for who they are and open himself up to meeting the true woman of his dreams, Samantha, and is iwlling to do anything to keep her - even risk his life.
