Based on the bizarre real life innovation of turning deceased love ones into rare diamonds, Icemaker is the brilliant off-the-wall black comedy.
When the scheming Dr. Lockbuster happens to stumble upon a process that is able to commpress the carbon from dead bodies to make precious diamons, he devises a scheme that could reap him millions of dollars by converting the corpses of the famous and selling them to wealthy collectors.
However his plans hit a snag when the two bumbling thieves he hires to collect the raw materials manage to get themselves involved in a series of hilarious mishaps that put an over zealous cop on their trail as they attempt to steal the remains of famous and historic figures.
Featuring an all star comedic cast including Bronson Pinchot (True Romance, Perfect Strangers), Tippi Hedren (The Birds, I Heart Huckabees), Richard Moll (Scary Movie 2, Night Court) and Joan Van Ark (The Nanny, Dallas).
