Hiding from a gang of bullies in the library of his new high school, Bastian (Jason James Richter - "Free Willy") stumbles across his most treasured book, The Never Ending Story and wishes himself back to Fantasia.
Baffled by his disappearance the Nastie give up their search but discover the leather bound volume on the floor. Slip (Jack Black - "A Shark Tale", "The School Of Rock"), the gang leader begins to read, quickly realising the invaluable power he now posseses.
When the Nasties begin to fill the empty pages with their own story, Fantasia is transformed into a realm of nastiness. As havoc spreads Bastian appeals to the Empress for help. She instructs him to return to the real world, confront the Nasties and recover the book and finally restore order to Fantasia.
