Rock-A-Doodle is a beloved book owned by young Edmond (Toby Scott Ganger) about Chanticleer the rockin' rooster (Glen Campbell) who must sing in the sunrise every day on the farm. But when Chanticleer is tricked by the Grand Duke Of Owls (Christopher Plummer) to leave town to seek fame and fortune (and more than just chicken feed) as The King, an Elvis-style performer in Las Vegas, the farm is plunged into eternal darkness. It falls on young Edmond to embark on a magical journey into the book and help the farm animals try and bring rock 'n' rollin' Chanticleer back home. Rock-A-Doodle cleverly combines live action and animation in a fast-paced tale of friendship, courage and rock'n'roll.
