Jack McCloud (Patrick Swayze "Dirty Dancing") is a mysterious drifter with a magical drifter with a magical friend and a very special mission. One day as he wanders the back roads of small town American with his dog, Betty Jane, he's struck by the car of a young family. Feelign responsible for Jack's broken leg, widowed mother Jeanne Holman (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio "The Perfect Storm") and her two young sons invite the free spirited wanderer into their home to recuperate. Little do they realise that this one act of kindness will change their lives forever in this truly magical tale about hope, happiness and dreams that come true.
